The Airbus RCT 4.0M features revolutionary SWaP reduction, including a 50% reduction in the logistical footprint of comparable terminals, a 60% reduction in the weight of comparable terminals and a 75% reduction in power consumption of comparable terminals.
Field-Interchangeable Assemblies
The RCT terminal is C, Ku, Ka, and X-band capable with field-swappable feed assemblies and RF packages that support the desired frequency. It can easily switch between bands through an interchangeable feed system, quick-disconnect adapters and common interfaces for amplifier mounts. Switching feeds or RF packages requires no tools and can be completed in less than 30 minutes with two personnel.
Low-PIM WGS Certified
The RCT includes a 6-port X/Ka-band feed and is low-PIM WGS certified for X-band multi-carrier operation at full linear EIRP. It is also WGS certified for simultaneous X-band and Ka-band operation.
