Ranger ODU
The Ranger Outdoor Unit (ODU) is even more modular, helping you lower operational costs and improve equipment reusability. The rugged Ranger ODU fits the entire Ranger family of terminals, reducing the expense of sparing different modem packages and enabling equipment interchangeability between terminals. The Ranger ODU also incorporates a Pointing Assistant (PA), Spectrum Analyzer (SA) and Beacon Receiver (BR). The ODU can be configured in a modem-agnostic configuration or with an internal satellite modem that is directly compatible with various industry standard technologies. These technologies are modem-dependent and range from DVB-RCS, TDMA and FDMA network platforms. The Ranger ODU also has the capability to use multiple signal sources for satellite identification and can be configured for DVB-S, DVB-S2, Beacon or Modem signal detection.
